The Pyxis Black is the most accurate scale Acaia has ever built. It measures just 65 × 65 mm, weighs 75 g and, for the first time, brings a coffee scale to 0.001 g resolution, a sensitivity that used to be out of reach in a format this compact.
It was born with the professionals: Acaia developed it alongside competing baristas, for the competition stage, where a tenth of a gram can decide the result. The body is aluminum and acrylic, the display is OLED, capacity goes up to 500 g and connectivity is Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4. Modes are customizable, so you decide the workflow.
The 350 mAh lithium-ion battery lasts 7-8 hours of continuous use and charges over USB-C. In the box you get the scale, the carrying case, a USB-C cable, the Acaia 100 g calibration weight, a sticker set and the warranty card.
We think it is the right scale for anyone who weighs coffee as precision work: espresso doses to the hundredth of a gram, filter recipes to the milligram. It is a limited edition and Acaia builds it in small quantities.
