The Macap MI40 Touch is the on demand grinder of Macap's Pro Instant line, developed with V12 Design studio: 65mm flat burrs, a 480W motor and 2.6 to 3.3 g/s of output for espresso. This LX version has micrometric grind adjustment with a quick release system, the same principle Macap uses on its Supra grinders.
The 3.5in touch screen with Macap's interface manages four programmable doses plus continuous grinding, a fast programming function and three working modes: Standard, Push & Grind and Barista. It keeps daily, weekly and total dose counters, can be password protected and lets you adjust the LED lighting, and the activation button is IP68 rated.
The adjustable metal fork has an anti vibration coating and holds the portafilter hands free, while air intakes in the base and an adjustable cooling fan keep the grinder cool through service. There is also a USB-C socket.

We like how much the MI40 Touch fits into 194mm of width: 65mm burrs, a proper touch interface and a fork that holds the portafilter for you, on a footprint that leaves room on a crowded counter.
